Projects

Pick a project to work in, create new ones, and see a project's Overview.

Projects (called tenants in the API) are the top-level workspaces in EgoX. Each project is an isolated AI agent with its own configuration, data, keys, and usage.

Projects (home)

The console home is the Projects picker — a grid of your projects. Search across them by name, open one to jump to its Overview, or start creating a new one.

New Project

Creating a project is a guided, multi-step flow:

  1. Basics — name the project; a URL-friendly identifier is checked for availability with suggestions.
  2. Compliance — industry, region, and tier settings that shape compliance behaviour.
  3. Provider (bring your own key) — connect one or more AI provider API keys the project will use.
  4. Personality — optionally start the agent from a saved personality template.
  5. Review — confirm and create.

Work-in-progress is preserved if you navigate away and return. Creating the project is the essential step; connecting provider keys and applying a personality template are best-effort follow-ups — if one fails the project is still created and you're guided to finish setup. A project must have at least one AI provider key before its agent can answer.

Project Overview

Opening a project lands on its Overview — an at-a-glance home showing status and metadata, a first-run getting-started checklist, headline metrics (tokens, estimated cost, API calls, unique users), a summary of the active agent, recent cost and usage trends, and quick links into configuration, testing, and monitoring.
